Once again, Tracfone proves to be awesome. Tracfone customers enjoy cellular service virtually anywhere. I’ve never been anywhere without service, except perhaps the back of Home Depot. Not sure why the service cuts out there. Maybe it’s all the metal in the roof or something.
I really don’t understand HOW Tracfone has such a huge network. I bought the phone a month ago and i have 0 complaints and am actually impressed since you don’t hear too much about this company. I get service EVERYWHERE! Including tunnels when I am driving (my old phones would go to ‘no service’, which is what impresses me the most). I used to pay double what I am paying now for phone service and I am getting WAAAAAAAY more for my money now that I am using Tracfone. GREAT Value!
I’m pretty sure that they have deals with the actual infrastructure providers to piggyback on their networks. So that when your Tracfone has a signal, it might actually be on the Verizon or AT&T network, etc. So it’s basically like combining the coverage of all the other providers.
I can use the Tracfone in the Virgin Islands. Awesome.
I have used Tracfone all around the U.S. Normally, cell phone companies are more dominant in certain regions, and weaker in others, but Tracfone seems to have full bars wherever I go. Call quality and reception is always above par and the minutes are just plain cheap. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a pay-as-you-go plan to check them out
