67861 – The old favorite keeps on ticking. You can get 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card. With DMFL you end up receiving a total of 180 minutes. You cannot beat that deal.

77578 – This code should net you 100 bonus minutes when purchasing a 200 minute card.

Buy a Tracfone LG 800g with Triple Minutes for Life – Use code 77578 to get an additional 100 bonus minutes. You will end up with 700 minutes of air time to start!

Note! If the above 77578 code does not work, you can try using the alternate 66836.

78254 – Purchase a 1 year card with 400 minutes with a DMFL phone and receive a total of 1050 minutes!

It has been verified that the Tracfone 1500 minute 1 year card can be tripled (!) when used with a phone like the Tracfone Samsung T404g. Use 67861 to nab an extra 60 minutes along the way. Total minutes = 4560!

Wow! This is a great deal for those of us who like to refill our Tracfones annually instead of every 3 months. Normally this card sells for $100, which is still a good deal! There is a code that will get you 60 additional bonus minutes when you purchase a 60-minute Tracfone card. However, some people are reporting that the code does not work. We have been monitoring forum traffic regarding this code and have discovered a “secret trend” that appears to work if you are having problems.

The code is: 67861

60 bonus minutes on a 60-minute card for a total of 180 minutes for DMFL or 120 for non-DMFL.

If you try to use this code when purchasing and activating a 60-minute Trafone card, the website may tell you that the code is invalid. However, many people have been reporting success by simply trying to submit the form again! Just keep trying until it allows the code! Sounds silly, we know, but there have been multiple reports of this working as recently as 8/18/2011.

Entering the realm of the Smart Phone!

You guys must know by now that I am a huge Tracfone fan. I’m not a fan because of anything in particular that Tracfone does, or their phones. The service is fine and reliable, and every Tracfone cell phone I’ve owned has been the same. I mostly love saving tons of money while other people spend crazy amounts every single month. My ANNUAL cell phone bill equals what most people pay in two months of normal cell phone service. And I don’t have to worry about any “early termination fees”.

Without all that said, however, guess what? My company will be providing me with a smart phone, most likely an iPhone, but ultimately it’s my choice. This is a realm in which I have traditionally feared to tread. The world of cell phone contracts and smart devices! I’m a little scared, and also a little bummed that my little Tracfone will sorta be rendered obsolete.

All is not lost in the land of prepaid cellular as I will obviously keep my Tracfone (it’s prepaid after all!) and probably pass it on to my kids for the time being. Don’t worry peeps, I’m still fully entrenched in Tracfone lore and tradition. The team will continue to provide the latest and greatest Tracfone promo codes and coupons when available.

Although I will be able to use a smart phone free of charge, I’m kinda bummed that I now have to figure out which phone to buy, what network to use, and what plan to purchase. These are all things that the seasoned Tracfone fan actively avoids! There is much pain to be found in trying to make these decisions. The iPhone 4 is available now, but apparently the iPhone 5 will be released in 1 month. Should I purchase a phone that will be obsolete in a month? What about Android? Those phones are pretty good too, especially the Droid 3. Sheesh.

Hiya bubs. We’ve got a Tracfone promo code for you here that should net you 1000 minutes when you add a 1-year card to your Tracfone. Whenever I re-up my phone for the year, this is the deal that I always use. The full 1000 minutes is for those with Double Minutes for Life phones and/or cards already in place. If you don’t have DMFL you should still get 600 minutes with your 1-year card.

It breaks down like this:

LG 420G Phone Review

A reader recently wrote in with these comments about the Tracfone LG 420G phone.

The Tracfone LG420G stinks. My wife just got one and has no service from our house. My Tracfone LG 225 has excellent service from our house. If my wife drives 6 blocks west she gets service if she drives to our local post office she gets no service. I have excellent service on my Tracfone LG 225 everywhere. Tracfone has sent us 3 sim cards but still have the same problem. Spotty service with no service at home. Tracfone cannot remedy the problem and has offered no solution to the problem. So when my wife needs to use her Tracfone LG 420G she has to get in the car and drive 6 blocks up the road or borrow my Tracfone LG 225.

I have this phone and have never had any problems with service, but just the other day I noticed that the outside volume buttons are messing up. They stick and don’t register presses with much consistency. Sort of a bummer, but not really a big deal. The service issue mentioned above seems more of a deal breaker.

Does anyone know why a different SIM card would possibly make any difference in signal reception? That seems very strange to me.

But the phone is only like a $10 or $20 phone, so ditch it and try a new one.

Do you have too many Tracfone minutes?

One of my close family members is also a Tracfone user. The other day I told him to “remember to go to Tracfoneclub.com before adding minutes to your phone.” He looked at me in amazement and said something like, “why do I need more minutes? I have more than I can possibly use already. What I need is service time.”

That was actually a good point. With all of the various Tracfone promo codes available, I’m actually in the same boat as him. I’ve got more minutes than I know what to do with. If I didn’t have to worry about service time I could probably have enough minutes to carry me through 2 years of phone usage.

I have personally never seen a Tracfone code that offers to extend service time… but that would be sweet. Though I’m pretty sure that’s sorta the basis of their entire promo model… not to provide extended service time. But who knows, perhaps it could happen. Keep yer eyes peeled.
