COMMUNICATION TIPS
1. Use text messaging when signal is low or cellular traffic is congested.
2. Let family and friends know your TracFone number.
3. Keep your handset well charged.
4. From your TracFone, calls to 9-1-1 are free. You are not charged for the minutes you use when placing an emergency call. If your 9-1-1 call is disconnected, emergency operators will try to call you back. If your TracFone does not have minutes available for incoming calls, they will not be able to reach you. (Note – Text messages to 9-1-1 cannot be completed.)
5. For non-emergency calls – It is a good idea to identify the phone number for your local police department and program it into your TracFone.
